Maldives – India 2nd Joint Working Group Meeting on Health Support

2nd Joint Working Group meeting under “Memorandum of Understanding between Maldives and India in the field of Health” was held virtually today.

During the meeting, assistance in Skill Up-gradation and Human resources from India was discussed between both parties. Digital health strengthening and cooperation in regulating Pharmaceuticals was also discussed at this meeting.

The Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Health of Maldives Ms. Aishath Samiya led the meeting from Maldives side while the Director of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of India Ms. Nidhi Kesarwani led the meeting from India side.  Senior officials of the Ministry of Health of Maldives, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of India, High Commission of India in Maldives, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Aasandha Pvt Ltd and National Social Protection Agency joined this meeting.
