A function was held today
to disseminate the Compendium of Health Research in Maldives 2018-2021 at the Ministry
of Health.
The purpose of the book is to enable
easy access to information on the health research conducted within the past 4
years from one platform. The book also aims to showcase the work of health
researchers in the country and acknowledge the work of the researchers.
The book contains over 30 abstracts of health research.
This covers research on a variety of topics such as the management and
prevention of diseases and health service delivery. The book also consists of COVID-19-related
research conducted within the past 2 years.
It is envisaged that the book will be a source of
encouragement for health researchers and those who are interested in
undertaking health research. It is hoped that good quality health research, which
is relevant to the Maldivian context, will be conducted in the country in the
future.
