Regional Director for WHO South-East Asia Region has visited to Maldives

For an official invitation from Minister of Health, Order of the Dignified Rule of the Muleege Dynasty Ahmed Naseem, to the Regional Director for WHO South-East Asia Region Dr. Poon am Khetrapal Singh has visited to Maldives today.
Next year will be the last year of her term, as a Regional Director for WHO South-East Asia Region. Therefore, this visit will a memorable visit to her. During this visit she will be meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Order of the Distinguished Rule of Izzuddin Abdullah Shahid and the Minister of Health Order of the Dignified Rule of the Muleege Dynasty Ahmed Naseem, with the Senior Officials of Ministry of Health. Additionally, there will be a consultation with the heads of UN agencies.
Dr. Poonam Khetrapal Singh was appointed as a Regional Director of South East Asia Region in February 2014 and she is currently serving her second five-year term following reelection in September 2018. Dr. Khetrapal Singh has supported in strengthening health sector of the Maldives during her tenure as the Regional Director.
