Surgical instruments have been provided to hospitals and health centres in 15 atolls in the Maldives.

The items were handed over by Minister of Health Ahmed Naseem. The surgical instruments handed over to hospitals and health centres included dressing instrument sets, baby sets, delivery sets, suturing instrument sets, incision and drainage sets, and articles for dressing room sets.
